The RF dependency of the Grumman procured UHF Transmit Modules is discussed in terms of various input parameters RF amplitude and phase, pulse compression and antenna pattern quality are related via dc input characteristics. Tentative power supply designs are comparatively evaluated. The preferred configuration is used to develop estimates of watts/lb for current and 1985 technologies. (Author)
