A ten year Life Cycle Cost/Cost Benefit Analysis has been conducted on the Revolving Door Subsystem of the Enhanced Airport Security System Project at Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). The Life Cycle Cost of the subsystem is estimated at $643,935 as compared with a baseline system cost of $1,403,000. The primary benefits of this subsystem are both monetry and qualitative benefits realized in an increased level of airport security.
