In this paper, two methodologies of OPGW installation, Carrier Method and Stringing Method, were presented. Carrier Method was used on main crossing such as highways, KCRC railway crossing, tunnel entrances and 132 kV transmission line crossings. On the country park and on those places where very few people and traffic were passing by, the typical Stringing Method had been employed to carry out the installation work. The effectiveness and efficiency of these two methods were demonstrated. Results were focused on installation works and practical points of view.
