Mobile ad hoc networks are the small size communication networks and can be activated within a small infrastructure in a small time period. There is no centralized control system for data communication. High speed of the nodes create so many performance issues like number of packet dropped and increase the packet delivery fraction in wireless networks. In this research paper, AODV (An Ad Hoc On- Demand Distance Vector), AOMDV (Ad hoc On demand Multipath Distance Vector), and MDART (Multi - path dynamic address routing) routing protocols have been evaluated based on data rate from 2 Mb to 12 Mb. The performance parameters are considered like packet delivery ratio, packet delivery fraction and latency. Evaluation work has been simulated on network simulator 2.35. It is observed and identified that AOMDV routing protocol perform better as compared to AODV and MDART routing protocols.
