It's well known that the interactions between two individually designed power converters may lead to degradation of dynamic performance or system instability. In this paper, a novel control strategy is proposed to address this problem by integrating active disturbance rejection control (ADRC)and flatness control. First, the system dynamic equations are reformulated in terms of instantaneous power. Second, the ADRC is adopted to estimate the load power variation and total losses of the system. Third, the flatness control is developed to follow the desired power, which is given by ADRC controller. The proposed control strategy can not only cancel the destabilizing effect of constant power load (CPL), but also have a robustness to parameter uncertainties. And its effectiveness is demonstrated by theoretical analysis and simulation results.
