In this paper we introduce a real-time system of six TMS320C50 which adapts to the behavior and requirement of radar target recognition. We use the in-house resources of TMS320C50 sufficiently in hardware design, and construct a modularity, small-volume and low cost engineering utility system. The system architecture consists of fully-connected network and modified daisy chain network. The fully-connected network is constructed of the time-division-multiplexed (TDM) serial port of TMS320C50, and has simple hardware configuration. The modified daisy chain network is a programmable interconnection network (PICN) which uses global memory as kernel, and has larger modification than traditional daisy chain network in priority arbitration algorithm.
