With the rapid development of automated driving technology, more and more vehicles have equipped with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) system. In this paper, we first investigate manual car-following behavior by statistics on NGSim dataset, and then give suggestions on parameter setting of ACC system to make sure that traffic capacity can be improved.
