In order to improve the safety of unmanned vehicles in the performance test, a collision warning method based on region division is proposed. Through collision detection calculation, collision warning information is sent out before the collision occurs, and the accident rate is reduced. Firstly, the test site was divided into several detection blocks and detection areas, and the detection area of the vehicle was calculated according to the location information of the test vehicle. Then, the test vehicles located in the same detection area were screened and collision detected according to the rules, and an alarm was issued according to the change trend of vehicle travel distance. The simulation results show that the method is efficient, stable and practical, and can effectively carry out safety early warning in the process of unmanned vehicle test.
