Flight planning is an essential pre-flight procedure that ensures the successful execution of mission objectives for any aircraft, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The flight planning procedure is inherently complex and must accommodate multiple variables that may affect mission success. To tackle the intricacies of UAV flight planning, an improved version of the Rapidly-exploring Random Tree (RRT) algorithm is being proposed to enhance the efficiency and speed of pathfinding for UAV missions.
