Automobile overloading is a serious issue in many nations, posing a risk to public safety and causing infrastructure and road damage. Systems that detect overloading can assist to lower the occurrence of overloading, however many of the current options are pricey and call for specialist equipment. This study examines the possibilities of detecting vehicle overloading using an Arduino microcontroller platform. Developers can design custom solutions for overloading detection using the open-source and inexpensive Arduino microcontroller platform. Since developers can easily adjust it to various vehicle and load types utilizing different sensors like load cells, strain gauges, and pressure sensors. This application will benefit from an appealing platform. This paper examines several case studies of Arduino-based overloading detection systems designed for trucks, buses, and agricultural vehicles. These systems demonstrate Arduino's potential for detecting overload and reducing the occurrence of accidents and infrastructure damage.
