L-DACS1 provides a flexible 3G-like sub-network architecture supporting transparent communication for ATS and AOC services. Supporting ATN/IPS means meeting the COCRv2 requirements. All COCRv2 ATN reference scenarios supported with adjustable performance: The protocol performance is adjustable in a trade-off between latency and user data capacity. The minimum performance (higher latency, higher user data capacity) meets the COCRv2 requirements almost exactly. The maximum performance (lower latency, lower user data capacity) provides still enough capacity for all COCRv2 services and offers ten-times lower latency. A prototype implementation of L-DACS1 is displayed in this conference's exhibition.
