The LLC resonant converter is widely used among the large power supply because of its simple topology and it can realized the ZVS of primary switch tube. The questions that the output voltage is nonadjustable and the working condition of ZVS is easily to be lost caused by the no-load in practice are pointed out. The characteristics of full-bridge LLC resonant converter working on no-load state are further analyzed in detailed on this basis. To solve these questions, the detailed solution and the condition of choosing the assumed load are given in this paper. The design of parameters is determined and a 500W output's experimental prototype of the full-bridge LLC resonant converter is made to verify the theoretical analysis above. Experiment results show that the proposed theoretical analysis is valid and feasible.
