Agent Supervisory Control is a concept to reduce the cognitive workload of a UAV operator. ASC can be deployed on heterogenous platforms with little additional effort by using a capability oriented architecture. The system was successfully tested in flight experiments on a fixed-wing UAV and a multirotor with two different mission setups. Features are: • Platform adjusted behaviour • Different mission execution styles • Handling of unforeseen events and popup threats • Graceful subsystem failure handling • Manual subsystem operation (different levels of automation)
