The paper describes the features of the centrifugal balance developed at INRIM, which is a suitable weighing instrument for accurate mass determination of small object in weightless conditions. A new measurement model is proposed, which allows to measure any kinds of objects, solid and not with an accuracy comparable to a classic laboratory balance.
