In order to analyze the relation between the whole efficiency of hybrid system and the total energy loss, this paper acquired the efficiency curve of fuel cell system and the efficiency curve of battery system through theoretical calculation and experimental test. This paper proposed an energy management strategy based on dynamic following coefficient (ECMS_DFC) which could maintain the whole efficiency of fuel cell hybrid system above 44%, and it has stronger capacity to sustain the SOC of battery with extending the life time of battery. Moreover, the results of theoretical calculation demonstrate that the key factor which affects the size of total energy loss is the ratio of time while fuel cell system runs in high power area.
