A new type of parting structure magnetoelectric dipole antenna is introduced in this paper. The antenna consists of a pair of horizontally placed rectangular patches, a pair of vertically folded short-circuit sheets, a rectangular floor, and a Γ-shaped probe. The rectangular patch with a fractal structure is obtained by splicing the horizontal patch, and the vertical patch is folded to widen the bandwidth. The antenna height is reduced effectively. The relative bandwidth of the antenna reaches 66.7%, the gain is stable at 8.15 dBi, the antenna has a stable unidirectional radiation pattern on the XOZ-plane and YOZ-plane, and low cross polarization, which can effectively suppress reverse radiation.
