This paper describes the design and implementation of attitude-control flywheel controller based on real-time operation system (RTOS) and DSP. In hardware design, the DSP, specially designed for motor control, is adopted to improve system performance and integration. In software design, the embedded operating system /spl mu/C/OS-II is adopted as the software development platform that can supply better portability and expansibility, as a result the real-time response and reliability are enhanced further. The methods that how to port the /spl mu/C/OS-II to DSP and how to implement application programs are discussed in this paper.
