In this paper, the continuous safety integrity analysis for a avionics system with Dempster-Shafer Theory (DST) is proposed. The safety index is defined and calculated with DST for the avionics system, especially for Integrated Modular of Avionics (IMA). Moreover, this quantity is a continuous function, which can be directly used for the safety evaluation. Compared with the binary logic of safety analysis, e.g., the safety case, our proposed method can be used in any N-ary logic and give an elaborate granularity of the Safety Integrity Level (SIL).
