This paper studies the effect of Body Rolling of Skid-Steering Wheeled Vehicle on Steering Characteristics. Based on the 2 DOF dynamic model of skid-steering wheeled vehicle, this paper taking account of body rolling and establishes the 3 DOF dynamic model of skid-steering wheeled vehicle constructed by lateral velocity, yaw angular velocity and roll angle. With an analysis of body rolling and wheel load transfer by different stiffness and damping of suspension, by the time of steering, the effect of steering characteristics depending on the charge of tire cornering characteristics is studied. Moreover, make a simulation analysis of Steering Characteristics of skid-steering wheeled vehicle by the different stiffness and damping of suspension, the effect on transient Response , steady-state gain, turning radius and instantaneous center of velocity of skid-steering wheeled vehicle is made. The result shows that rolling parameters of suspension has an effect on the transient response, steady-state gain, turning radius and instantaneous center of velocity of skid -steering wheeled vehicle.
