In our work we report the first observation of self mode locking in a solid state Raman laser with a single frequency pumping. Two spherical mirrors formed the cavity for the Raman laser. The mirrors were highly reflective at required Stokes wavelength and wavelengths of lower Stokes components. We have observed self mode locking at second and fourth Stokes generation. The train of short pulses was generated.
