Phase shift control is generally adopted to regulate the output voltage of resonant switched capacitor converter (RSCC). However, the switch turn-off current is large under heavy load, and too small under light load to discharge the parasitic capacitors, resulting in hard switching process and extra switching losses. This paper proposed an optimal combined control to adjust the RSCC output voltage for zero voltage switching (ZVS) and high efficiency. Experimental prototype is built to validate the proposed combined control strategies.
