Among other design features, drone engines are designed so that the rotor bearings are located inside the engine, so it is impossible to measure vibrations traditionally. This paper describes a two planes balancing method using a single three-axis MEMS accelerometer. The developed method has been confirmed by experimental results, which show a definite reduction in motor vibrations after completing the balancing process.
