This paper describes the voltage balancer of interleaved buck/boost converter type with coupled inductor in DC microgrid and presents inductance deduction method of equivalent circuit model coupled inductor. Proposed voltage balancer has a role to balance voltages between positive and negative buses in bi-polar DC microgrid. The interleaved buck/boost type voltage balancer consists of two magnetic elements and it causes of bulky size of voltage balancer. To reduce volume of inductor, two-phase interleaved voltage balancer is applied. Proposed voltage balancer is tested in PSIM simulation using deduced leakage and magnetizing inductance.
