Battery thermal management is a critical aspect in ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of energy storage systems. Excessive heat generation and poor thermal dissipation can adversely affect battery performance, safety, and overall lifespan. This study explores various methodologies for managing battery temperature to ensure the well-being of the battery and enhance its lifespan. To achieve effective thermal management, diverse techniques are employed, including forced air cooling, cooling plates, and liquid cooling. The proposed system aims to address the challenges associated with battery thermal management by leveraging the unique capabilities of TECs, it becomes possible to actively regulate the temperature and dissipate excess heat efficiently. In this study, an extensive examination was conducted on a 7S 3P battery pack (25$\mathrm{V}$ 7.8$\text{Ah}$) to explore its thermal behavior when subjected to different dis(charging) rates. Transformer oil possesses excellent thermal conductivity, electrical insulation properties, and high flash point, making it a suitable choice for battery cooling applications. The investigation encompassed scenarios involving both natural convection and immersion cooling. By utilizing these approaches, the research sought to acquire comprehensive insights into the thermal dynamics of the battery pack and evaluate the performance of various battery cooling systems.
