The article presents the results of a study on the 3D roughness parameters of magnesium alloy AZ91D. Experiments were conducted using tools with different rake angles. Rough milling was performed under dry conditions. The effect of technological parameters and end mill geometry (rake angle) on selected 3D roughness parameters was investigated. Additionally, selected 3D topography maps and Abbot-Firestone material ratio curves were presented. The milling tests have shown a significant impact of technological parameters and end mill geometry on the analyzed roughness parameters.
