• To avoid interference with mobile satellite service (MSS) feeder uplinks (Globalstar) in 5091–5150 MHz band: • AeroMACS base station power transmission limits (Scenario A) • Small airports: 275 mW on 1 channel. • Medium airports: 825 mW on each of 6 channels. • Large airports: 1650 mW on each of 11 channels. • Initial evaluation of subscriber power transmission limits (Scenario C) • Small airports: 83 mW on 1 channel. • Medium airports: 332 mW on each of 6 channels. • Large airports: 664 mW on each of 11 channels. • Subscriber limits more strict because antennas have larger gain at large elevation angles. Further study needed to investigate time dependent effects.
