In the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system, due to the influence of the conventional cascade controller structure, the speed loop control has the problem of slow response speed and speed overshoot. A direct speed control method based on linear active disturbance rejection controller (DSC-ADRC) is proposed to improve the speed control bandwidth and enhance system robustness. Moreover, the introduction of DSC-ADRC design method not only reduces the control parameters, but also gives the physical meaning of each parameter, which has a remarkable effect on reducing the complexity of parameter tuning. The validity and availability of the proposed method are proved through simulation and experimental results.
