Research suggests an Internet of Things (IOT) based Smart Parking System as a response to the growing problem scaused by in efficient urban parking. The increasing number of vehicles over whelms straditional systems, causing traffic jams, fuel waste, and contamination of the environment. Our technology uses an online interface, which is a website, and a network of sensors to address this problem. Drivers can take advantage of easy online payment processing based on the parking pe-riod, quickly reserve spots in advance, and real-time parking availability information. Users will benefit from a more efficient parking experience because of features such as contactless entry and departure via license plate recognition technology and a display of available spots. The Smart Parking System's ultimate objectives are to decrease traffic by reducing search times, promote environmental sustainability by lowering emissions, and make parking easier and more comfortable for everyone.
