In this modern world of generation the renewable as well as the isolated sources have become irresistible. Though from the generation prospective isolated systems are efficient, but it has a drawback when it comes to power control management. This paper focuses on the power control management as well as hybridizing multiple generation to form an isolated hybrid microgrid system. Moreover here a nine switch converter based electric spring topology has been used in order to manage the power flow throughout the system efficiently. This work mainly focuses on designing a hybrid power controller using nine switch converter to enhance the power flow in hybrid isolated systems. Here the NSC operates both as series and shunt compensators; series converter along with non-critical load forms an electric spring and shunt converter helps to interface the PV system with the SEIG system. Two different control structures have been designed for combined power control of both series and shunt converter. The entire system is subjected to both critical and non-critical load variation and is designed and simulated using Matlab/Simulink environment.
