The "Develop and Implementation of Automatic Trolley System for Aged and Disabled Using Arduino Controlled by Hand Gestures" project aims to enhance the mobility and independence of aged and disabled individuals by introducing an innovative assistive technology. The system utilizes Arduino microcontroller-based control, hand gesture recognition, and actuator control to enable users to control the trolley's movements through intuitive hand gestures. These project addresses the challenges faced by aged and disabled individuals in handling trolleys or carts, particularly in public spaces or while shopping. Existing solutions often lack ease of use, limiting the mobility and convenience of users. The proposed system offers an automatic trolley control mechanism that responds to hand gestures, eliminating the need for physical manipulation of the trolley and system's architecture consists of a trolley mechanism, hand gesture recognition system, Arduino microcontroller, actuators, and communication interfaces. Hand gestures are captured and processed using a gesture recognition algorithm, which translates them into control commands. The Arduino microcontroller receives the gesture commands, generates appropriate control signals, and communicates with the trolley's actuators to adjust the trolley's movement. Extensive testing and validation procedures are conducted to ensure the system's functionality, reliability, and performance. The system's effectiveness is evaluated based on gesture recognition accuracy, response time, trolley movement precision, and overall user satisfaction. User feedback and usability assessments are also considered to refine the system's design.
