Since everyone is a passenger in an autonomous driving environment, driving convenience technologies that can reduce motion sickness are being developed. This motion sickness is not only difficult to recover to normal in a short period of time but can also lead to refusal of boarding for autonomous driving. Therefore, techniques to prevent motion sickness and alleviate its symptoms are essential. In this study, as a motion sickness reduction strategy, the visual and auditory stimulation-based driving situational awareness enhancement effect to prevent sensory conflict was tested. The experimental results showed the effect of reducing motion sickness when the change was compared before and after driving.
