This article examines the motion sickness incidence mitigation of passengers while ensuring safety and economy in complex road conditions. The trade-off between minimum motion sickness incidence and minimum energy consumption is obtained by adjusting the weights for multi-objective optimization. The relationship between the two is reflected by the Pareto frontier. Frequency domain analysis of the lateral and longitudinal accelerations under both weights and analyze the occupant motion sickness incidence and total energy consumption under different weighting styles. The results of the analysis show that when the MSI weight is high, it reduces the incidence of motion sickness, but it is inferior in reducing the energy consumption.
