We have measurement the time-dependent electron densities in a relativistic electron beam (REB-) pumped HF chemical and KrF excimer lasers. An interferometric method with two wavelengths was used to probe electrons. The dependences of the temporal behaviors of electron density on H/sub 2/-F/sub 2/-O/sub 2/-He and Kr-F/sub 2/-He gas mixture ratio, the total gas pressures, and the electron energy were measured systematically.
