In order to improve the comfort and economy for adaptive cruise control (ACC) system of electric vehicles, an MPC-based algorithm of ACC system for multicriterion optimization is studied. An entropy-based linear combination weighting method to allocate the weights of objective subfunctions in the optimization is adopted in this paper. In the end the joint simulation of CarSim and Simulink is conducted to justify the efficiency of the algorithm promoted in this paper.
