A novel JTC technique for multiple target detection which employs data fusion in the correlation plane while avoiding the image subtraction in the Fourier plane is proposed. The proposed JTC technique enhances the correlation peak intensity between the reference and the targets in the input scene and reduces the out-of-class correlation peak intensity between the reference and the non-target objects that may be present in the input scene.
