While driving in urban conditions, traffic congestion often occurs. In such situations, the risk of traffic accidents increases. Frequently, the first vehicle slows down and its brake lights come on, but shortly afterward the traffic situation in front of it changes, prompting the driver to apply the brakes more sharply in an attempt to avoid a newly appeared obstacle. However, this change in braking force is usually not indicated in any way to the following driver, since the brake lights are already on from the initial press of the brake pedal. In the present article, a solution to this problem is proposed through the use of a brake light that detects the vehicle's deceleration and intuitively indicates the change in braking force.
