In the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) speed control system, the conventional PI controller cannot satisfy the requirements of rapid response and small overshoot under the condition of acceleration, deceleration and sudden disturbance. In order to solve this problem, a modified ADRC system is proposed in this paper to improve the dynamic performance and disturbance rejection ability. Firstly, the basic ADRC theory and IPMSM mathematical model are introduced. Then, the modified ADRC system is proposed. Finally, the experiments of modified ADRC system and PI control system have been carried out to validate the effectiveness of the modified ADRC system. Experimental results show the proposed method reduces the overshoot and shortens the response time.
