Nonlinear optical measurements play an important role in characterization of colloidal solution. It is necessary to design a method for fast, simple and in the same time accurate nonlinear optical characterization of solutions. This paper describes a simple method to measure third-order nonlinear susceptibilities of highly scattered liquids. This method is currently applied for studying the aggregation and polarization of nanoparticles and microspheres in solution.
