With the industrialization of microcomputer technology and flight drive technology, small “X” quad-rotor UAV has been widely used as a typical model. But what follows is higher re quirements for performance and security. The static hovering po wer of general aerial small UAV is 200 to 300 watts and the flight altitude is more than 12 meters. Such a device is undoubtedly pot entially dangerous. The solution of these problems still depends o n the application of more reliable control rate. This paper analyz es the flight mechanism of “X” quad-rotor UAV in detail, and des igns and simulates the control system on this basis.
