This study designs a model predictive controller for addressing the issue of unmanned ship target tracking, aiming to achieve unmanned ship control. Through simulation experiments, the performance of the controller was validated, with results indicating successful target tracking by the underactuated unmanned ship and achieving stable control, with a stable error of approximately 0.8 meters.
