In view of the collision of traffic flow in different directions at the entrance of the intersection without traffic signal, this paper uses Java language to build a traffic flow feedback control platform and applies the traditional following model to vehicles in different driving directions at the intersection. By establishing the intent conflict judgment function, the distance conflict judgment function and the conflict response function, the driver is provided with a recommended driving speed, and if the driver responds correctly according to this speed, the vehicle arriving at the intersection can pass through the intersection safely and efficiently to prevent the occurrence of collision. In the conflict response algorithm, the optimized speed model in the traffic flow model is used to simulate the traffic flow operation, and the parameters in the model are calibrated through the performance evaluation of the test cases, and the effectiveness of the method is finally verified. The paper does not use the improved following model, and the focus is to verify the feasibility of using the following model for different vehicles. The simulation results show that the following model is feasible and effective in applying the following model to vehicles in different directions and different lanes.
