A vehicle body posture control method includes acquiring driving state information of a vehicle, object information about one or more objects around the vehicle, and distribution information of people in the vehicle; determining that at least one of the one or more objects is a collision object that will have an unavoidable collision with the vehicle based on the driving state information and the object information; determining the type of shape of the collision object based on the object information; reading structural rigidity data of various parts of a vehicle body from a database related to the bearing capacity of the vehicle body; and determining an adjustment strategy for adjusting the vehicle body posture based on the type of shape of the collision object, the distribution information of the people in the vehicle, and the structural rigidity data of various parts of the vehicle body, to minimize damage and/or injury.
