A vehicle controller includes an automated stopping controller (145). The automated stopping controller includes: a reference feed-forward braking force deriving unit (145B) configured to derive a reference feed-forward braking force for causing a vehicle to stop at a stop position on the basis of a speed of the vehicle and a braking distance which is a distance to the stop position based on a detection result from a sensor; and a feedback braking force deriving unit (145C, 145D, 145E) configured to derive an estimated braking distance on the basis of the speed of the vehicle and to derive a feedback braking force for decreasing a separation between the derived estimated braking distance and the braking distance. The automated stopping controller (145) performs control for causing the vehicle to stop at the stop position on the basis of the reference feed-forward braking force and the feedback braking force.
