An ultrasonic sensor includes a transmitter configured to transmit an output wave signal in an ultrasonic region using a piezoelectric element, a receiver configured to receive an input wave signal in the ultrasonic region using the piezoelectric element or an additional piezoelectric element, and a logic part configured to control the transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter is configured to superimpose ID information on the output wave signal. The logic part is configured to perform proximity detection and distance measurement of a detection object by identifying the input wave signal based on the ID information.
