A truck comprises a tractor and a trailer hitched thereto. At least one tire is mounted on each end of each of the tractor's axles and at least one tire is mounted on each end of each of the trailer's axles. A sensor is associated with each tire. Each sensor acquires tire-condition data about its respective tire and transmits this tire-condition data to a proctor. The proctor can coordinate realtime tire-condition displays, facilitate flagging of tire-condition problem tires in a fleet yard, and/or allows large data downloads for historical evaluation.
