The working surface profile of a railway wheel consists of smoothly conjugated rectilinear sections and circle arcs forming spherical radii. The rectilinear profile sections are formed by a rolling line corresponding to the conicity of 1:10, and the inclination angle of the wheel flange of 60 deg. Their conjugation is made in the form of two circle arcs, the radius of the first of which, adjacent to the wheel flange, is R1=20±2 mm, and the radius of the second arc adjacent to the rolling line is R2=106±2 mm. The conjugation points of said rectilinear segments and circle arcs have coordinates (-37.5, -13.1), (-24.9, -3.5) and (-5.8; -0.4) with respect to the point 0 located in the calculated center of the wheel profile corresponding to the rolling circle.EFFECT: profile ensures uniform rail wear while minimizing wear on the working wheel surface and eliminating flange undercut due to obtaining the widest possible contact patch of surfaces.5 dwg
