본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 도로 노면 마찰계수 추정 장치는 차량 전방의 도로 노면을 촬영하는 분광 카메라; 상기 분광 카메라를 통해 촬영된 멀티 스펙트럴 이미지(multi spectral image)를 저장하는 메모리; 및 상기 메모리에 저장된 멀티 스펙트럴 이미지를 이용하여 상기 도로 노면의 마찰계수를 추정하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
