An intersection traffic flow control method and system using probe vehicle information are provided. According to the traffic flow control method according to an embodiment of the present invention, a computing system receives traffic information from the probe vehicle, identifies the driving environment from the received traffic information, and controls traffic signals based on the identified driving environment information. As a result, by controlling the traffic flow at the intersection using probe vehicle information, traffic congestion can be resolved quickly, and traffic flow can be improved without a traffic signal manager having to arrive at site.
프로브 차량 정보를 활용한 교차로 교통 흐름 제어 방법 및 시스템이 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 교통 흐름 제어 방법은, 컴퓨팅 시스템이 프로브 차량으로부터 교통 정보를 수신하고, 수신된 교통 정보로부터 주행 환경을 파악하며, 파악된 주행 환경 정보를 기초로 교통신호를 제어한다. 이에 의해, 프로브 차량 정보를 활용하여 교차로의 교통 흐름을 제어함으로써, 교통신호 관리자가 현장에 도착하지 않아도 교통 체증을 빠르게 해결하여 교통 흐름을 개선할 수 있게 된다.
