The present invention relates to a vehicle obstacle detection range calculation system. The vehicle obstacle detection range calculation system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an expected traveling path generating unit which generates an expected traveling path of a vehicle; an obstacle detection area generating unit which generates a front obstacle detection area of the vehicle based on the generated expected traveling path; and an obstacle detecting unit which detects an obstacle within the obstacle detection area. As the expected traveling path progresses in the path direction from a preset point, a width of the obstacle detection area generated by the obstacle detection area generating unit becomes narrower. Provided is the vehicle obstacle detection range calculation system, which informs a traveling environment of the vehicle front within an expected trajectory.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 차량 장애물 탐지범위 산출 시스템은, 차량의 주행 예상 경로를 생성하는 주행 예상 경로 생성부; 생성된 상기 주행 예상 경로를 기반으로 차량의 전방 장애물 탐지 영역을 생성하는 장애물 탐지 영역 생성부; 및 상기 장애물 탐지 영역 내의 장애물을 탐지하는 장애물 탐지부를 포함하고, 상기 장애물 탐지 영역 생성부를 통해 생성된 장애물 탐지 영역은, 상기 주행 예상 경로의 기 설정된 지점에서부터 경로 방향으로 진행할수록 그 폭이 좁아진다.
