The present invention relates to a forward collision warning system for a bicycle using image recognition. The forward collision warning system includes: a bicycle including a frame, a handle, and a braking unit for stopping wheels; and a warning device formed on the bicycle to issue a warning of a collision by recognizing a collision target existing ahead. The warning device comprises: a camera formed on the handle to photograph the front; a control unit recognizing a collision target such as a person or object from an image photographed by the camera and analyzing a collision distance; and an output unit generating a warning voice in accordance with the collision distance analyzed by the control unit. Therefore, the present invention can have an effect of guiding a rider to be aware of a person or object ahead before the occurrence of a collision.

    본 발명은 영상인식을 이용한 자전거의 전방 추돌 경고 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 프레임, 핸들 및 바퀴를 정지시키기 위한 제동유닛이 포함된 자전거와, 상기 자전거에 형성되어 전방에 존재하는 추돌대상을 인식하여 추돌을 경고하는 경고장치를 포함하며, 상기 경고장치는 상기 핸들에 형성되어 전방을 촬영할 수 있도록 형성되는 카메라와, 상기 카메라로부터 촬영된 영상 중 사람이나 사물로 된 상기 추돌대상을 인식하고 추돌거리를 분석하는 제어부와, 상기 제어부에 의해 분석된 상기 추돌거리에 따라 음성으로 경고음을 발생시키는 출력부로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
